These terms apply when you use DeMidify at demidify.com. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Questions: [email protected].
The service
DeMidify takes a drum MIDI file you upload and returns a humanized version using an AI model. The result is new MIDI that you use in your own music software; DeMidify doesn't provide drum sounds. Results vary with the input and settings, and we may improve or change models over time.
Your account
Keep your password private — you're responsible for activity on your account. Give us an email address you can access, because that's how you sign in and reset your password. One person per account.
Free trial and subscription
- New accounts can start a 14-day free trial. A payment card is required to start it.
- Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically at US$9.90 per month and renews every month until you cancel.
- The free trial is available once per person and once per payment card. If the card you enter was already used for a DeMidify trial, your subscription starts straight away instead.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. If a payment fails, we'll retry it and you keep access for a short grace period; if it still fails, access pauses until the payment method is updated.
- We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice; the new price applies from your next billing period after that notice.
Cancelling
Cancel anytime in Settings → Manage billing. Cancelling during the trial means you won't be charged. Cancelling a paid subscription stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. See our refund policy.
Your files
You keep all rights to the MIDI you upload and to the humanized results — use them in your music, commercially or otherwise, without crediting us. You give us permission to store and process your files only to provide the service to you and to fix problems, as described in our privacy policy. We never use your files or results to train our AI models. Only upload files you have the right to use.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to bypass payment or access controls, overload our systems, scrape or resell the service, reverse-engineer the model, or share your account. We may suspend accounts that do.
No warranty
DeMidify is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it available and useful, but we don't promise it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce a particular musical result. Keep your own copies of your files.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that can't be excluded.
Ending the service
You can stop using DeMidify and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut DeMidify down, we'll give reasonable notice and won't charge for time after it closes.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use DeMidify after that means you accept them.
